I missed most of it but managed to catch the last 15 minutes. I call that a partial win. Sounds like great things are happening. Pretty exciting stuff in the pipeline.

Was out on the course - you guys must be good luck! Hit my career to date drive on the hole I was on when I tried to join the call (spotty reception), then a solid approach but pulled left and found it in a dicey lie just a few inches outside the cart path and pin high .. lobbed it up onto the raised green and landed right on the fringe towards the short side flag .. ball rolled right away from the flag .. nailed the putt!

Still will have a call this week, but will be out of the office because i have a bunch of family visiting and my office will be the bedroom for my grandfather. That said I still have my laptop so we will be good to go!

Glad I could join and listen in for a short time- last bit I heard was Ryder cup history discussion, then my boss called. That call turned into a group call with his boss and a colleague (at which point I left the LATT call) and now my evening has switched from being relaxed and a gym visit to solid work for the next few hours. Great!lol

So small steps for the LATT weeklies... first one I've been able to dial in. Next time maybe I'll make it to the end and at some point come off mute and contribute. ha ha

Ref the Ryder cup history. Someone mentioned the Rough Cut Podcast and I completely agree- their podcast this week is great and explains the evolution of the Ryder cup. In the early days when it was USA vs GB&I, the Brits were really affected by the wars (golf courses were plowed to prevent German aircraft landing on fairways) and the golf pros were not well paid and all worked at golf courses as club pros rather than being full time tour pros until quite late (can't recall if they said 60s or 70s). Anyway, it's a good listen for anyone interested.

Also, Peter Finch released a video today playing the Worcester CC, in Worcester MA, the venue for the first ever Ryder Cup.

Ignore the link in the video description, as that takes you to the Worcester CC in England (which funnily enough is where I played a county schoolboy championships when I was in my late teens!).

Was glad we were able to get together this week! Like every week I really enjoyed it and knew it was possible that we might have to hop on a different link than normal.

I’m sure Jaime was super busy with family visiting so completely understandable that he wasn’t able to make it.
