I have since moved the MMT over to the Cleveland and need to retake the numbers.

If you are new to Community Labs, this is where members of Life At The Turn get the chance to test gear, use it on the range and the course, and share honest feedback with the rest of the community along the way. This lab will focus on the performance of Srixon’s Ultispeed golf ball along with the TrackLine alignment aid and how it helps during play, especially on the greens.

Ghost Golf Mystery Review

Requirements: you work with the Step Toe Right away... that's it. Oh and have a complete review by December 22nd on initial findings.

I need it done for a few reasons. But if you can do it, they ship end of this month and I would be eternally grateful. ( or at least through December 😂)

So, after careful consideration I’ve broken out my sticks (careful consideration being my stack stick was destroyed in Milton) Long story short SuperSpeed gave me a 10 percent discount on my next purchase for writing a review of the prgr device and there’s a 40$ rebate for sending in your old sticks. All of a sudden 200 becomes 140 and I’ve ordered the pro sticks which to me seem to offer the best of both worlds in regard to over speed training.

I did my first physical and distance related assessments test day and started training today with the old sticks. I will switch over to the new ones next week. We have some cooler weather and I wanted to take advantage of it.

I will post pictures and the new ones when they arrive and give you a blow by blow. I was in the first tester group on another site about 7 years ago. The good news is that my initial numbers here were a tad faster than my initial numbers then - that training worked so I’m hoping for similar results and also new protocols that keep the distance gains going without having to do 3 arduous for a 69 year old protocols each week.

This will be a long term detail oriented shaft review. While we love launch monitor data it isn't a requirement. On course, strokes gained, etc. are just as important. We are looking for 2 members to join @ben on this journey. Each member will receive 3 high quality aftermarket shafts along the way. I will go into full detail in a post below but each shaft will get 4 weeks worth of play and use by each member. (Not one of the chosen 3 to start, that is ok as will be explained below.)

Each Field Reporter starts a Logbook, which is a personal thread where they track everything from first swings to final verdicts, with photos, updates, and honest performance notes.

Lab Contributors

This includes everyone else. If you've tried the same product, you can add your voice by sharing your feedback. Whether it's a comment, mini-review, or quick comparison, your input helps build a more complete picture.

Voices From the Field

We also host roundtable discussions and Q&A events where Field Reporters, Lab Contributors, and members talk about gear, share opinions, and ask questions. Sometimes brands join too. These sessions turn feedback into conversations and bring the community together.
